She's an 80's icon... the girl who 'just wanted to have fun'.
Now, two decades later, Cyndi Lauper is still making music. In
fact, her new album, "Shine", is due out this summer. She made
a rare concert appearance in Chicago recently to benefit one of
her favorite charities, the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Our own
Lou Canellis caught up with her for a chat after the show.

TV's "The Nanny" dropped by the 190 North studio to talk about
life since the hit show, which has been largely taken up coping
with uterine cancer. Fran is "two years well" now and has written
a book about the experience which should prove helpful to those
in a similar situation.
The Gynecologic Cancer Foundation, a Chicago-based organization,
hopes to provide some much-needed answers to people's questions.
