Sun Aero Helicopters in Lansing is the largest Chicagoland-based helicopter service.

"We have a beautiful city here. We've got a magnificent skyline that people die to see. We want to give them the opportunity to see how beautiful the city actually is," said Bob Cole, Sun Aero Helicopters V.P.

A one-hour tour for four to six people can cost you anywhere from $450 to $600.

"We can take them to particular building if they want to photograph a particular building they own or they live in. We can pretty much do anything that anybody would request," said Cole. "You're not going to have a worry in the world. It's going to be a very, very unique experience."

Sun Aero Helicopters offers Chicagoans unlimited access to leisure and business destinations. Their service allows you to bypass the congestion on the ground.

"Okay, this is a Bell 206, built in Texas and they've been building it for about 30 years now. It's a real reliable machine. About 450 horsepower and it's going to travel today at about 130 miles per hour," said Fred Hostetler, pilot.

The company has a fleet of helicopters to choose from.

"Well, real smooth ride for the most part, not too shaky they're a real smooth aircraft, you know, you will have some movements there is a little turbulence sometimes. We're a little better off than an airplane because there's a lot less surface area for the up and down movement then it would be in a place with a traditional wing," said Hostetler.
