| NoMi Garden:
The original restaurant, named after one of Chicago's most famous
avenues, has been around 2 years now. But this summer, NoMi unveiled
its -outdoor- dining locale, aptly named NoMi Garden. This quaint
space is located 7 stories above the Magnificent Mile within the
Park Hyatt Hotel and seats about 80 people. The restaurant's specialty
is called the Brochette. In essence, the diner selects four different
ingredients that make up the meal. Its an inventive preparation
of meat or seafood and vegetables placed on a skewer. The Brochette
is served only for lunch. At dinnertime, NoMi Garden serves mainly
appetizers. Outdoor seating is first come, first served.

Sorriso Ristorante and Bar:
The river views from this upscale Italian eatery make it one of
the most unique outdoor dining locales in the city. Sorriso Ristorante
is situated at the foot of the Quaker Tower, right on the Chicago
River. In fact, it is one of the few restaurants in town with actual
boat access. Their charming outdoor patio seats nearly 100. The
cuisine is classic Italian.. serving specialties like Filet Sorriso
and Chicken Scalpetta.

Athena Greek Restaurant:
Since its arrival in Greektown, Athena has been a family dining
favorite. It also happens to be home to perhaps the largest outdoor
dining area in the city. Patio windows located on Halsted St. help
to enclose this street-level dining area and lush trees, flowers
and a flowing fountain help make it an even more serene setting.
The menu features classic Greek specialties.. like lamp chops and
feta-stuffed chicken breast.
