Information on WXRT's Birthday Bash with Counting Crows and Zwan |
|
Chicago boasts plenty of radio stations... but not many have the staying
power of WXRT-FM. This month, the station celebrated 30 years on the
airwaves and the party attracted two of the biggest names in the music
business. The surprise opening band was none other than Billy Corgan's
new group, Zwan. Counting Crows rounded out the bill. Janet got the
exclusive interview with Crows' lead singer/founder Adam Duritz..
and even sat down for a chat with a few of the jocks who've helped
mold WXRT's progressive rock sound.
