Teri O'brien is, as she describes it, a recovering lawyer who has a Master's in Exercise Science. She attended UIC and is a member of the adjunct faculty. Teri is featured in eight videos in the American College of Sports Medicine's Healthy Learning Video series. Her books, "The Personal Trainer's Handbook" and "Pearls for Personal Trainers," have made her an authority on fitness. She's one of the best experts in America today. Gabrielle Reece is 30, 6-foot-3, and a model/pro volleyball player who acts as a spokesperson for women's athletics. Gabby's face can be seen on the covers of numerous magazines. She has also written columns in a couple of magazines, and she is still currently writing for Women's Sports & Fitness. Gabrielle has been involved in many volleyball tournaments and challenges, and she has won many of them. Her team took first place at the first-ever Beach Volleyball World Championships in 1997, and she has been named best player in many categories, including the Offensive Player of the Year in 1994-95. Gabby was born in California, but raised on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. She didn't begin to play volleyball until the 11th grade when she moved with her mother to Florida. In 1997, Gabrielle was selected to be in the Florida State University Athletic Hall of Fame. Gorilla Sports was created to provide a one of a kind workout facility that challenges its members with its diverse and energetic programs. Dave Fox founded Gorilla Sports in 1995 and first opened its doors in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since then, many other locations have been opened, including here in Chicago. With all the locations combined, Gorilla Sports has over 300 classes per week, and all classes are opened to all fitness levels.
